The Oral History of Polish Architecture

The Oral History of Polish Architecture project, run together with the Karta Centre, aims to collect autobiographical interviews with people educated in the fields of architecture and urban planning.

The interviewees of different ages and with different professional experience talk about their studies, jobs, successes and adventures related to their professional history, to practising their profession or changing it. The material collected in the form of audio recordings and transcripts will be used to create a panorama of sorts presenting the stories of this professional group, covering the period of the People’s Republic of Poland, the political transformation, and contemporary reality.
